Maxxis is continuing to expand its position in the high performance sector, with a range of tyres in some 200 sizes. The latest offering comes in the shape of a low aspect ratio unidirectional ultra-high performance. Available in sizes from 195/50 R15 to 255/35 ZR20, the new Maxxis MA-Z4S Victra features a reinforced casing and robust body ply structure for improved handling and stability, while a hard bead filler compound is said to aid cornering.

“The new MA-Z4S Victra joins top-selling patterns like the M35, MA-V1 and MA-Z1 – which have consistently outperformed several premium brands in group tests – and is an exciting addition to our high performance range,” says Maxxis International UK’s managing director Derek McMartin. “We are continuing to come up with new innovations and are confident the MA-Z4S Victra will reinforce our brand values and help position Maxxis as the best alternative to the OE brands in this key marketplace.”

The UK launch of the Z4S follow’s Maxxis International USA’s introduction of the Victra Z4S ultra-high performance tyre, which, Maxxis said, offers handling and traction on wet, dry or snowy surfaces. At the time US company representatives described the tyre as having “broad appeal, from the sport [saloon] to the minivan and crossover vehicle owner.”
